These are some rippa rugby rules I came up with

  1. You aren't allowed to spin when you have the ball
  2. You aren't allowed to pass the ball forward
  3. you're not allowed to do a washing machine
  4. There are only allowed to be 13 players on the field
  5. You’re not allowed to have your tags on te inside of your shirt
  6. You're not allowed to run with one tag
  7. You must be on your side if the other team has the ball
  8. You’re not allowed to have both of your tags on the same side
  9. There is no cheating on the field
  10. You are not allowed to be on the wrong side of the field
  11. If you go on the outside of the field you must  pass the ball to the other team
  12. If you have the ball and you get ripped you can do three more steps
  13. If you have too many people on the field you will be called of the field
  14. You are not allowed to swear at the other team when you are on the field
  15. You can’t make the other team play from where you lost the ball
  16. A game is made up of two halves.
  17. The rule is that each half lasts for 20 minutes, with a two- minute interval at halftime.
  18. The for the game is to score a try by grounding the ball behind or on the opponents’ try line.
  19. If you get a try is worth five points.
  20. You aren’t allowed to answer back to the coach

I made this to show that I have been doing things while im at TECHNOLOGY, It is also just to keep up on what I am doing

I made this to help me with my Reading and my understangs

Not the thing
of recent times, is love
but by the ancestors it has been
passed down, passed down.

From the land, the land
comes the wellbeing of the people;
by the ancestors it has been
passed down, passed down.

Faith, hope
and love;
by the ancestors they have been
passed down, passed down.

I made this with no insperation at all, I did this because I wanted people to know why you send your child to school...

Argument 2:
Parents want nothing more than for their children to grow up into well-mannered individuals and give the proper respect to other people. Which is why school education is an important part in their studies, because success in life does not always rely on academics.
It is true that the main reason that you enroll your children to a school is to learn about academic subjects like math, history, science, and so on, but these are not the only things that children need to learn if they ever want to become successful in the real world. Character education gives them the necessary tools that they will be using more often than those that they learn from the other subjects.
Character education is a teaching method which fosters the development of ethical and responsible individuals by teaching them about the good values that people should have. It teaches the students the values of caring about other people, honesty, responsibility, and other important traits that make for an upstanding citizen.
The parents are not the only ones that need to be concerned in developing a student's character, the school and community should also have a role in this. These days, with most families, the children are often left alone with no one to guide them. This is why schools need to implement character education so that the students know the correct path they should walk on.
Why do we need character education in today's schools?
The need for character education lies in the fact that a sustained process of teaching, being shown examples of good character, and constant by practicing what they learned is the things needed to instill good character traits in students. And since students spend most of their time at school, it is the perfect place to instill moral values in them.
The reason for teaching good character is to help prepare the students to face the many opportunities and unknown dangers that are in today's society. Character education gives the students the knowledge they need to know what these dangers in society are and deal with them properly.
Young people these days gets exposed to literally thousands of negative influences through the media and their peers every day, add to this the sad fact that parents are spending less time with their children. Students need to know how to handle these pressures and character education will give them the tools that they need.
Does character education actually help in academics?
Yes, character education can greatly help students with their academic subjects as well. Diligence and a sense of responsibility are some of the main core values taught in character education. With these students will learn how to focus on their studies, and more importantly they will have the drive that will make them want to do well in their academic subjects.
Building character also helps them to interact properly with their teachers and fellow students, turning their classroom into a better learning environment.
Does character education really work?
Research done on the subject found out that schools that employ character education have fewer incidences of disciplinary referrals, suspensions, and truancy. The positive environment that it bought to schools also increased attendance and has also brought about a significant improvement in academic performance of the students.
What your children learn from character education will be useful to them as they engage and interact with other people in society. For them to become upstanding members of their communities, they need to know the proper way to treat other people, and these are the things that they learn and understand through character education.

WALT: write a reflection about what we did I Technology

This is my Technology reflection 2017

WEEK 6 REFLECTION

I enjoyed making myself a funny looking apron, It was hard making the marks and cutting out the fabric. One of the most challenging parts of my day was making sure that I was ironing the fabric and also making sure to make it all stay in the one place. One of the hard parts is to make the shape the same size as the paper as well. One of the most coolest things that happened to me was getting to do three stitches and even better getting to start the project of an apron. Other then that I think that today was a good day, I had a lot of fun starting my apron.

WEEK 6 REFLECTION SWIMMING

Today our technology class went for a swim at kaikohe Intermediate school. We were told to line up at the deep end of the pool for our practice round in the pool, we were also told what we could do for Example there are the four competitive strokes which is (1) freestyle, (2) backstroke, and (3) breaststroke. These are very helpful Examples that we did in the pool today. At the end of our swimming lesson we lined up the opposite way which is wide ways and we all got a flutter-board to use while we were learning, I was the lucky one I was allowed to use the floating Tyre. At start it was hard to use at the time but as I was using it , it was making me understand more how to use it in the correct way. When it was time to go we all got into rows for our final race, we were allowed to do whatever we wanted to do, like freestyle and so on, when it was my turn to race I leaped into the air and splashed into the water, then I did the freestyle action, and I beat the others to the end.
Then it was time to go so we all left the pool exactly how we got it.

WEEK 10 REFLECTION

Today at technology I made a pocket it was a small pocket but I liked it, I also made a long caterpilla on the bottom of my apron because I had made a little split in the fabric. The most challenging thing that had happened to me was making the aprons straps, they were hard to me because I had to make it the same size and everything on them. The other hard thing was to Iron the fabric to make it the right shape and to make it almost the right length. The most fun part for me at technology would have to be when I was stitching my name onto my little pocket.

WEEK 10 REFLECTION SWIMMING

We never went swimming DUE to bad weather… Cyclone Debbie struck Northland.

WALT: Use the BASIC RUDIMENTS OF MUSIC in different kinds of songs, we are also learning to understand what the beats are on a bar line.

In our class we have been learning music with our teacher Matua Hemera.
He has taught us the BASIC RUDIMENTS OF MUSIC and how to read their symbols

WALT: Recognize and use a metaphors and a Similes in our poem writing.

This is a slide presentation on what our class is using. we are using our language Tools in our writing

This has been proudly made by Tumanako and Charlee.
Charlee and I made this with MANA and AROHA

In our class we are learning about gardens and what things you can ues in them...

WALT: know how things work in a garden and what you can use while your in them.

Organic sustainable garden

No man made soil and fertilizer
Marigold
compost
Companion planting
Manure
Long purple lupins
Feeding your compost

manure/compost to help your garden

Image result for marigold
This plant is one that you can put into your garden and it will attract all of the bees into harvest your gardens.

Image result for lupin flower

This plant will also attract the bees but it will also give you nitrogen(the toxic one) if you cut it round about at the bottom while it is still growing you will be able to get a bit of the nitrogen.
