So I stopped and waited for this person to come past and yet I was waiting for know one because that person was already in the the front of me running with the others.

I tried to catch up to the other runners so that I wouldn’t be the last one to the finish line but they were just coming out of the water and I was heading up the hill KOHUROA I said out loud running as fast as I could to catch up to her.
Then I started slowing down again but this time it was my stomach it  was twisting and turning and I couldn’t do anything so I started crying. Parehuia stopped me and took me to Whaea Meri, at that time Whaea Meri got another adult to help her put me into Whaea Gaylene’s car. On our way back to the school we were talking about what was going to happen when I got out of the car, Meanwhile later I was waiting in the office for my nana to come and pick me up but she never came, so my teacher dropped me off at home.

W.A.L.T write about rice and what it is good for.

Athlete and Rice.
Bowl of white rice

Growing, selling and eating rice is integral to the culture of many countries. In China, it has been suggested that rice has been raised for 3000-4000 years, where it gradually rose to become an important part of life. China’s rural culture has developed around the growing of rice, and foods made from rice are the basis of festivals such as the Land Opening Festival, which marks the start of the rice cultivation season, and the Spring Festival. So why is rice so important?

Rice is a main ingredient in meals and will keep you strong and healthy. When people think about unhealthy, refined foods they often think of one color: white. And oftentimes this unhealthy, white food has a healthy brown counterpart. White sugar and brown sugar, white flour and whole flour. Although it may be true for most foods that white version is unhealthier than the brown version, rice seems to be one of the only exceptions. As a cereal grain, it is the most widely consumed staple food for a large part of the world's human population, especially in Asia. It is the agricultural commodity with the third-highest worldwide production, after sugarcane and maize, according to 2012 FAOSTAT data.

Rice is an important source of food for the athlete and will keep up their energy and stamina.

A news artical about the Olympics

Many athletes will be arriving in Rio for the opening of the world's biggest sporting spectacle.

The Rio Olympic Games is held every four years in a single city. More than 10,000 athletes take part in the summer games. Athletes with disabilities will participate in a variety of competitions which are the Paralympics. The Olympics have a certain amount of games that the disabled do.

Athletes train up to 8 hours per day. This training is meant to give you a mindset of a winner by setting their goals and dreams to win a gold medal. Coaches often structure routines with the purpose of effectively allowing the athletes to increase their focus gradually until the athlete understands and is in control of all their daily actions, nothing is wasted everything is done with a reason.

Overthinking and over-analyzing are an athlete’s biggest enemies. That’s why they train repeatedly so their muscles will remember the movements and their body will react to the environment without activating the brain. Your ability to focus on a goal is directly influenced by your motivation. Before you find what motivates you’ll need to have a better understanding how motivation works.

The Olympic is one of the most popular places in the world and it begins in two days.

I wonder who’s gonna win?
